Caracalla, 198-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 5.45 g, 12 h), Rome, 217. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Radiate and draped bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P XX COS IIII P P / VIC PART Victory seated right on cuirass, holding stylus in her right hand and shield inscribed VO / XX and set on her left knee with her left; at her feet, helmet; to left, shield; to right, trophy between two seated captives. BMC 198. Cohen -. RIC 297c corr. (VOT XX on shield). Very rare and nicely toned. Good very fine.
